The
Savanna Baluran's National Park had ecological damaged and
reduction caused by Acacia
nilotica invasion. One of
effort which is not implemented before
it was
eradication of Acacia nilotica with
biologycal control. For example
with the insect. The
aim of this research to investigate species of insect in pods of Acacia nilotica. This research used survey method of savanna area
that had been invasived by Acacia nilotica. The result of the research, there are 4 insects species pod's pests Acacia nilotica;
Careydon serratus, Dinoderus
sp., Stathmopoda sp., and species 1 (Pyralidae).
The research result showed 4 insect species can exploit pods of Acacia nilotica.
